I've always loved attending weddings. I still remember my cousin Winxie's wedding from July. Soooooo beautiful and romantic. I'll try not to get too sappy;). And just this past Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending another wedding. This is my FIRST "friend" getting married! It was so exciting. I've known Joe for a long time and actually hadn't seen him for a long while too. So it was really cool to see him get married. Their wedding was so personalized and beautiful. They did things their way and really made it their own. There was a live band playing in the church which was neat. At the end, they sang a song, as husband and wife, for the guests to conclude the ceremony as a thank you. Real sweet.
And then I FINALLY got to see Ruth (the other Ruth) and Terrence. They're my buddies from Guelph:) So surreal seeing them here in HK. It's just nice to see a familiar face from back "home". It was just like the old times, lots of eating and chatting and shopping. Actually my first time shopping with Terrence. Hopefully will get to see them again before they leave.
To finish off the long weekend, met up with Denise and Gid!! Also buddies from Canada. It was awesome to see so many people that I haven't seen in a while again.
